Kilim is a hand woven Turkish tapestry. We buy them and further process them into shoes, bags and gun- bags.
Our lasts (model that gives the shoe its shape) are shaped according to the European standard. The cut is adapted to the last, but if you are between 2 sizes, we recommend to take the smaller one, because the material becomes softer when worn and gives way at the pressure points.

Kilim is a very durable material, if they get wet, stuff the shoes with some newspaper and put them on the heater until they are dry again. That way they keep their shape.
Our goal is always to make very comfortable shoes. The Kilim Loafers are particularly comfortable to wear because the shoe adapts to the foot, because the material gives a little at the pressure points.
Yes, you are welcome to have your initials, logos, crests or other things embroider on shoes. Send us your wish by email, we will contact you with suggestions of the colors and designs. We'll send you some Kilim pieces to choose.
You can't personalize finished shoes, as embroidery happens before shaping the shoe.
An exchange is not possible for personalized shoes!
Über Aicus
Paula, the founder and designer, studied shoe design and shoe technology and then worked for years in a wide variety of shoe companies and factories. Behind each shoe is a lot of experience and knowledge, which is reflected in the quality and comfort.
We produce exclusively in Europe. The Kilim products come from Turkey, the leather shoes and boots from Italy and Spain.
We work with small, family-run manufactures and attach great importance to fair working conditions and friendly relations between us and our producers.

Shipping & Returns
If the shoes are unworn and the sole is in tact, an exchange or return within 15 days, no problem!
Please send the shoes back to: Altenberg 11, 8151 Hitzendorf.
The amount for the return shipment will not be taken over by us, the new shipment of the exchanged pair will be paid by us.
Please send us an email if you send the shoes back and which pair you want to exchange them for!
